Well, I think this will be the last time I wear a dress without tights this season.  I think the fall weather is here to stay now.  I love the bell sleeves and reverse collar on this boohoo.com dress, and I’ve clearly been loving the color burgundy lately.

I want to mention the cuff bracelet in this post, as it’s pretty special.  It’s from a line called Soko, that has partnered with Pencils of Promise to launch a jewelry collection with the goal of raising awareness and funds for educational empowerment.  20% of every purchase goes to Pencils of Promise, in support of building schools in Ghana.  How cool is that?  I love when pieces (whether it be for fashion or you home) have a story.

On a personal note, we’ve had quite the exciting weekend!  J’s sister just landed a super cool job in SoCal and is going to be living with us for the next couple of months.  It has been so fun having her here, and I’m looking forward to having another family member here for the holiday season.

I also got to meet one of my friend’s adorable new baby, have lunch with all my girlfriends, and we even squeezed in a Friendsgiving at our place.  Hosting a party is super fun but also way more stressful than simply attending. I was so thankful to have J’s sis here to help me prepare and clean (she’s the best!).

Hope you all have a great week!

That dress is beautiful ! I love it so much, I am always obsessed with burgundy as well – it's the only color I ever want to buy haha.

I am beyond obsessed with this oxblood swing dress. Love the color and the structure of the dress. It looks so chic and like an oversized tee, which I bet is so comfortable too!
