J.Crew Sale Picks

Untitled #167

You guys know I love a good sale, and J.Crew is having an amazing one right now!  On top of the already on-sale items, you can get up to 50% off with code THEBEST.  I love J.Crew but I can't justify their prices sometimes.  I have been eyeing the orange pants and the statement earrings for awhile now and am so happy to see them on major sale.

I'm filling my closet with bright colors, prints, and fun jewelry for summer and spring so this sale is really hitting it out of the park for me.

I hope you guys have an awesome Friday, and let me know if you snag anything from the sale!

Striped Drop Waist Dress

Dress: J.McLaughlin c/o  |  Heels: BCBGeneration  |  Bag: Tory Burch  |  Sunglasses: Karen Walker

It's definitely dress season here in Orange County and I couldn't be happier!  I'm feeling the need to refresh my summer dress collection and this J.McLaughlin number is a good start.  I love the retro feel of the scoop neck and drop waist silhouette, and it is perfect for many occasions.

My new sunglasses came just in time to pair with this dress - don't they make for a perfect match?  I am huge fan of cat eye sunglasses and Karen Walker.  I've been wanting a pair of her sunglasses for awhile, but it seemed every one and their mother had the same two shapes and I didn't want to fall into the same hole.  I waited for awhile for the perfect shape to come out and they finally did so I took the plunge.  I'm so happy I did.  You can't really see it, but the top is lined with gold which gives them such a fun and edgy vibe.

P.S. A big thank you to Dana from Something Good Blog for the feature yesterday.  I'm sharing what I wear to work and how I incorporate my personal style -- be sure to check it out!

Fringe & Tribal

Top: Cheeky Peach Athens c/o (sold out - but loving this boho blouse)  |  Bottoms: Cheeky Peach Athens c/o  |  Heels: BCBGeneration  |  Bag: J.Jill c/o  |  Sunglasses: Miu Miu  |  Earrings: ASOS

Happy Monday!  I've been feeling extremely inspired in the boho department with all of the Coachella posting on social media this past weekend!  Unfortunately, J and I had to sell our tickets due to a conflict and I was so sad to miss it.  Luckily I was able to get a lot of things done this weekend, which is always a good feeling.

I am loving these shorts from Cheeky Peach Athens and find I've been wearing them as much as possible since I got them.  They have an elastic waist band so they are super comfortable, and the colors are so bright and happy.  I love them with this fringe top but I've also paired them with a black tank and chambray shirt for a more laid back look.

Spring Sandals

This post is promoted by DSW.

Top: TopShop  |  Shorts: Old (Similar here)  |  Shoes: DSW c/o  |  Bag: Forever21  |  Bracelets: BaubleBar  |  Sunglasses: ZeroUV c/o

I am a shoe fanatic.  I love how your shoes can really transform an outfit.  It’s the difference between an outfit being casual or formal, fun or classic.  It’s important to me to have a variety of options in my rotation, thus I am constantly adding to the collection.

This spring I’ve really gravitated towards loud prints and bright colors in heels.  I love these heels from DSW because they have the loud print and texture in the snakeskin material, but the black and white will go with everything.

I’ve been a long time shopper at DSW because they offer amazing rewards opportunities, and have all the designers I love for a discounted price.  If you’ve followed this blog for a while, then you know I've even scored luxury brand shoes like Gucci and Giuseppe Zanotti there.

For this particular look I paired the heels with a printed top - I love mixing prints and since these heels are neutral in color, they are a perfect candidate.  These heels are great with pants but I love them even more with shorts or a skirt.  The heel height makes your legs look longer and dare I say more toned?  Might be wishful thinking on my part, but I do think they help!
What are you guys looking for in spring sandals this year?

At DSW, we believe in the power of shoes, and in the power of shoe lovers.  With thousands of fresh styles for men, women, and children, we've got something for everyone, no matter who they are or how they dress.  Shoes say a lot about you. Say something great.

Floral Jumpsuit

forever21 floral wide-leg cami jumpsuit floral jumpsuit affordable spring fashion tank top jumpsuit tory burch thea bag
Floral Jumpsuit: Forever21  |  Shoes: BCBGeneration  |  Bag: Tory Burch (would LOVE this bag in a bright color)  |  Sunglasses: ZeroUV c/o  |  Bangles: BaubleBar

The bright, happy print of this jumpsuit is what drew me to purchasing it.  The bold print and unique cut make it look much more expensive than it actually is, in my opinion.  I paired it with cognac accessories and a soft melon colored lipstick, both which felt very springtime to me.

I wore this outfit to Easter brunch with Jesse, so I love that it leaves room for indulgences, if you know what I mean!  After brunch we headed to dog beach with the dogs for the first time ever.  I was pretty nervous but they both did okay (minus a bit of barking at the big dogs from our smallest dog -- she suffers from napoleon syndrome - wink wink).

I hope you all had a great weekend, and thank you for reading!

Coral

Top: Style Revel c/o  |  Trousers: River Island (also seen in this post)  |  Heels: Heels.com  |  Bag: ASOS  |  Sunglasses: Celine

One of my favorite springtime looks is a pair of white pants with a statement top.  Clearly I love these trousers since it's the second time I've blogged about them this month... they are the perfect pants so I will not apologize!  You can't make me!

I love this coral & striped top from Style Revel because it looks like it might be two different tops but it's actually only one.  The cut is extremely flattering since it is longer in the back than in the front as well, which I appreciate.  I am not trying to look like J.Lo in my white pants here if you know what I'm saying.

I'll also be wearing these heels nonstop this season.  They go with everything and can be dressed up or down which means I either need the black version or a black equivalent so I can have the two perfect heels for travel this summer.

I hope you guys are having a fabulous week thus far!
