Happy Monday! We had a fun weekend filled with the perfect mix of relaxation and play time. We saw the movie Jungle Book in theaters which was so amazing (I of course, cried because I'm a huge baby). We also hit up VegFest in Los Angeles which was really fun. It was our first year going and I'm not going to lie, I think we were a bit surprised at the amount of people there! We waited an hour for vegan grilled cheeses because all of the food lines were insanely long, but it was definitely a delicious grilled cheese. There were all kinds of awesome booths set up and we got to pet a lot of puppies and pigs, so I would say the day was a success. By far the best part of the day was getting to meet Freelee the Banana Girl, a vegan youtuber who has an amazing amount of videos on her channel that are inspirational and educational. One of her videos in particular made me start thinking about being vegan, but many of her videos helped the process. I'll admit, she comes off very strong and harsh in her videos, but that's kind of what is needed when it comes to a subject like that.
Enough weekend rambling... this outfit is the perfect casual outfit that is too comfortable for its own good! I love a good swing dress (see here and here) because of the versatility and comfortability. This one comes in a bunch of different colors, but I chose navy to go with these adorable navy and white striped shoes.
I shared the inside of my Dagne Dover bag on snapchat, but if you are like me and need a million things on you at once, you have to get this bag. It is an investment, but in my opinion it's worth it for an everyday bag. This one has a variety of convenient compartments (a built-in cuzzi' for your water and a laptop case to name a few), making it the perfect organized bag for the girl on the go.
I hope you all had a great weekend, and thanks so much for stopping by.
