It’s definitely dress season here in Orange County and I couldn’t be happier! I’m feeling the need to refresh my summer dress collection and this J.McLaughlin number is a good start. I love the retro feel of the scoop neck and drop waist silhouette, and it is perfect for many occasions.
My new sunglasses came just in time to pair with this dress – don’t they make for a perfect match? I am huge fan of cat eye sunglasses and Karen Walker. I’ve been wanting a pair of her sunglasses for awhile, but it seemed every one and their mother had the same two shapes and I didn’t want to fall into the same hole. I waited for awhile for the perfect shape to come out and they finally did so I took the plunge. I’m so happy I did. You can’t really see it, but the top is lined with gold which gives them such a fun and edgy vibe.
