This past weekend I attended a fun event to watch the Golden Globes and I loved having an excuse to pull out this fun little gold party dress. I wore this dress to a small Christmas party J and I hosted, so I was happy to get use out of it twice in such a short amount of time! Usually when I buy dresses I wear them for one occasion and don’t bust them out again for years. (Such an unpractical thing to do.) Even though this dress is gold and seems like it would be loud, I think pairing it with a different lip color and accessories reinvents the dress and look. I think I may have found my new LBD in this gold number!

I love this dress and the belt. I'm totally with you on getting dresses for special occasions or events and then not wearing the dress again until years later. There are some dresses, shoes, and pieces of clothing in my closet room that I haven't even worn at all yet.
