Living in an apartment with a pooch is tough. Especially one with a bladder as small as Zoey’s. While we do our best to take her on walks to use the restroom, sometimes it’s just not in the cards time-wise. Also there are times where neither of us our home to let her out during the day (she typically needs to go about every 2-3 hours), and we have to put her up in our bedroom with a potty pad in the bathroom. Anyone who has ever used pee pads know they’re extremely uneffective in long term potty training. The dog doesn’t know the difference between a pad and the floor and will eventually just go on the floor when you remove the pad.
Enter Doggie Lawn, a $50 a month subscription that delivers a fresh grass patch to your door. Depending on your dog’s bathroom frequencies, you could easily spend that or more on potty pads a month – which are bad for the environment and in general just kind of gross.
During the day we will keep the Doggie Lawn outside and at night or when we are gone we bring it inside and put it in the bathroom.
They recommend you spray it with water every 3-4 days to keep the grass from turning brown. I poured the water on with a cup but I soon learned that Zoey liked it better when it was just lightly wet, not sopping.

I think this is a great idea and it definitely works.. I have had a few friends use this while the puppy was in training and it worked wonders..
