I think part of looking "expensive" has to do with how you style your casual outfits. Comfortable and casual do not have to mean "bumming it" (although, sometimes yoga pants and sweatshirts are totally necessary). Pairing a loose but tailored shirt with stretchy jeans and your favorite flats is all you need sometimes to look put together.
I have a few new pieces I want to share with you guys today. First off are my amazing flats from Yosi Samra. I had a pair of Topshop ballet slippers before I got these that were my "emergency walking shoes" whenever my heels got to be too much. Needless to say I had them for less than a year before my toe literally started to pop out of a hole in the shoe. And I still wore them. I wish I was joking...I hope you guys don't think less of me for it. These Yosi Samra flats are perfect because they fold up and fit in that little black bag in the 2nd to last picture. I literally carry them in my purse 24/7. Also, the leather is really thick and sturdy so unless I have a steel toe, there should be no toe-popping with these babies.
Second, is my new handmade bracelet from Libi & Lola. I love how this bracelet mirrors the chain on my bag, and how it mixes gold & silver. So often I am torn between gold and silver because I have a lot of silver pieces that rarely get worn. My heart belongs with gold, but I feel that this bracelet blends the two so well that I can easily pair silver accessories with it.
