Patio Progress

J is kind enough to pass the reigns over to me with the majority of the decor in the apartment, but the one part of the place he is really passionate about is the patio. Maybe it’s a guy thing? It was the one thing he wanted to be in charge of. He was adamant about getting to choose the Patio Doors so he better make a very good selection! I do sometimes get a bit nervous about his choices when it comes to the decor but I guess I must learn to trust his judgement!
Awhile ago we headed out to get patio furniture (you can get a great teak garden bench for a bigger patio than ours) and we searched all over; TJ Maxx, Ross, Marshall’s, Home Depot, Lowe’s, until we finally stopped at Target. Lucky for us they were having a 30% off sale on ALL patio furniture. Since then patio furniture has been reduced to 40% off, (at least on the website).
We got these two chairs while at Target, and the palm tree & bamboo pot from Lowe’s.
I adore it. We both spend so much time out there and it’s the perfect little private getaway. I thought it might make the apartment feel smaller but it really feels like a whole other room.
Now I just need to find some pillows!
Here are some options:

Costco has large outdoor pillows with Sunbrella fabric on them for an amazing price…2 for $14.99. The have lime green, sunny yellow, sunburst orange, turquoise and stripes and patterns in those colors. They won't fade, which is great! I love mine.

This used to be one of my favorite go-to restaurants in high school. I can't say much about the service or the atmosphere of the restaurant now, but back in the day, you order at the counter, get a number, and they bring it to the table. patio conversation sets
